Fairy Lights for the garden are the perfect whimsical touch for night-time charm. You can add fairy garden lights to almost anything. I like to twist them around things like a wrought iron trellis. It’s a flower display by day and a charming defined outline by night! The lights also add some much-needed ambiance during the long winter months.
Solar Fairy Lights – A Whimsical Fairyland
Sheppard’s hooks are also a clever way to display solar fairy lights. I like to put them on multiple Sheppard hooks to create a whimsical fairyland during the nighttime hours.
Outdoor fairy lights are super affordable and ridiculously easy to install. I always buy solar fairy lights because they are so easy to work with and free to power once installed. These garden solar fairy lights come with the ability to change the pattern. You can change them from a “running” pattern to a blinking pattern. The steady pattern is my personal preference, but it’s always cool to have options.
Solar Powered Fairy Lights for the Garden – So Affordable
I buy the copper-colored wire fairy lights because they are a warmer color than the blue wire lights which display a more cool color. If the warm lights aren’t your thing, cool bluish and multi-color fairy lights are great choices as well!
They are available in a pack of two strands which is a super good value. You can often get two 30 plus foot strands for under $20. Such a deal!
More Fairy Light Ideas!
Another fun option is these multi-color flower blossom fairy lights. They are bendable so you can shape them into whichever pattern or shape you like. If you grow tired of that arrangement, you can re-bend them again! A big bonus with these is that they are highly visible during the day and a show stopper at night.
Flower blossom fairy lights are also available in solid colors as well. They are also available in a variety of configurations like individual strands and cascading flowers!
Cascading fairy lights for the garden look so interesting and fun. I’m contemplating a creative location to add them to my night-time fairy light display. These are available in one or two packs. The possibilities for these outdoor fairy lights are endless. I have several creative ideas I’m exploring right now.

Whatever style of garden decor you have, these cool little bursts of happiness add so much charm and warmth to any setting. Lighting in the yard and garden adds an additional layer of security as well. While fairy lights certainly aren’t putting out a high-beam light, any amount of additional light at night makes a difference. I find that the more light I add to my outdoor space encourage more time spent in the garden after the sun goes down. And that’s a good thing 🙂
